Our studio works as a place of experimentation, combining landscape design with the development of outdoor products and custom elements. Each project aims for durability, low maintenance and a thoughtful relationship with the living environment.

As a studio developed within Vert Val — a company specialized in garden construction and landscape implementation — Umilys naturally bridges design thinking with on-site expertise when needed.

"Guided by Beauty" isn't a tagline we added afterwards — it's how we work. A living garden cannot be controlled; it can only be guided. Our role is not to impose a form on nature, but to reveal the one a place already holds within it.
In practice, every decision — the line of a path, the choice of a perennial, the angle of a light, the setting of a stone — answers the same question: does it serve the beauty and balance of the whole? Beauty becomes our compass, from the first sketch to the last seasonal pruning.
