Umilys is a landscape architecture studio designing and building contemporary gardens, terraces and outdoor environments, fully integrating living systems and biodiversity.

At Umilys, every garden is designed as an immersive experience where vegetation interacts with lifestyle, architecture and atmosphere.
Our mission goes beyond aesthetics.
We strive to generate a positive environmental impact by rehabilitating degraded or mineral spaces. In 2024 alone, we planted more than 12,000 plants, contributing to soil enrichment, pollination and habitat creation for local fauna.

Scientific research has shown that regular exposure to natural environments significantly improves well-being and reduces stress. This reinforces our conviction: a well-designed garden is not only beautiful — it is a form of living infrastructure that supports human health.
Atmosphere & Plant Compositions
Through our network of specialized growers, we select high-quality plants adapted to the Belgian climate.
Our plant compositions are tested in our experimental garden in La Hulpe, established in 2018. This living laboratory allows us to study plant resilience, seasonal structure and long-term spatial dynamics across more than 6,000 m².
A garden is not defined by its first year.
